Jeff Faile is the founder and managing principal of Jeffery Faile CPA, a certified public accounting practice that specializes in providing audit, tax and consulting services to small businesses and individuals.
Prior to establishing his own practice in 2008, Mr. Faile was a senior manager at one of the nation’s top 20 accounting firms and the largest firm that specializes in tax credits and community development. During his tenure, Mr. Faile was responsible for the planning, supervision and review of many audit engagements. His responsibilities led him across the country where he gained national experience. Additionally, he worked with the firm’s wide array of resources in affordable housing and utilized those to provide clients with solutions designed to achieve their goals.
Before joining one of the nation’s largest accounting firms, Mr. Faile was a principal with a national public accounting practice that specializes in affordable housing. Mr. Faile focused on real estate development consulting with an emphasis in specialized audit services, tax credit compliance and partnership taxation. He also acquired valuable skills in practice management as the principal of their Southeastern office.
Mr. Faile has provided accounting and/or consulting services to hundreds of real estate transactions involving the low-income housing tax credit, historic rehabilitation tax credit and/or tax-exempt private activity bonds. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Faile has gained comprehensive experience in the community development sector. In addition, he has also conducted numerous tax credit seminars nationwide and written articles for several trade publications.
